He knows that pain makes you stronger…
Wolf isn’t always a good person, and he doesn’t hesitate to say what’s on his mind.
He is who he is, and he doesn’t offer apologies.
He isn’t out to impress anyone, and he doesn’t make excuses for his actions.
She knows that fear makes you braver…
Raven has made some bad decisions, and she’d give anything to go back in time and choose a different path.
The reality is that she can’t go back, and the day Wolf walks into her life, she finally realizes that maybe she doesn’t want to.
Wolf is everything she’s ever wanted, and the exact opposite of what she needs.
They both know heartbreak makes you wiser…
Wolf knows that this is not a good idea. There are a million reasons—all of them bad—telling him exactly why he should stay away.
But when Raven’s nightmares burst out of her dreams and into her reality, he doesn’t have a choice anymore.
He has to protect her, while somehow protecting his battered heart.

Wolf and Raven have both overcome some harsh tragedies in their lives. Apart they’ve both gone about living and just remembering to breath, together they unite to finally heal and overcome those tragedies as one.

From the very beginning of being introduced to Wolf I knew he was going to have an amazing story to tell. Just by the brief introduction that was shared about his past had me salivating at the mouth to know more about him. As for Raven, her story was not for the faint of heart. Having to endure the extreme torturing she experienced and then survive what that mad man did to her was nothing less than amazing. Her spirit may have been shattered but her will to survive and persevere was strong and ready to fight.

Lani Lynn did an amazing job in connecting these two as a couple. The story of Wolf and Raven resumes right where we were left off last with these two. The flow and plot of the book was perfect. We got our Alpha male (Wolf) and our brave female survivor (Raven). Let me not forget the best part, which is of course the steamy, hot and heavy love connection that finally happens with these two. Wolf, being the Alpha male that he is, makes darn sure that Raven knows whose name to call out lol. The ending was the icing on the cake, with Wolf and Raven finally getting the happily ever after ending that they both truly deserved. I’m giving this read a 5 kiss rating and suggest that you one click this read today or add it to your TBR list as your next read!
