TITLE: Dauntless
SERIES: Sons of Templar #5
AUTHOR: Anne Malcom
RELEASE DATE: October 27th, 2016

This isn’t a fairy tale. I’ll save you the trouble by telling you that now. This is the tale of a girl who spent her life bouncing around foster homes, who had her innocence stolen in the darkness before she knew it was something that could be lost. Her demons followed her everywhere, after that night. They chased her to the medical school she dropped out of, to the strip club she sold herself in, and finally caught her in a river of sin where they tried to drown her.

My name is Bex and this is my story.
I’m paddling, barely keeping my head above water. And even though I’m submerged, I’ll never be clean. The layer of dirt that has clung to me since birth is a tattoo I’ll wear for life. He can’t see it, though. Even when I’m torn and tattered, and left in pieces, he wades into the filth to try to put those pieces back together. He doesn’t seem to understand there’s nothing left to repair. To love. Just sullied fragments of a damned soul. He’s willing to damn himself in order to exact revenge on those who sent me to the pit. Problem is, my name is at the top of that list, since I not only damned my own soul, but his too.

Lucky and Rebecca aka "Bex" are not your conventional love story couple. Their story is by far one of the most unconventional stories I've read so far. With that being said, I'm going to make a quick disclaimer and warn you now that if you are expecting a happy, sugar cookie, love at first sight, happily ever after romance story than this is definitely not that story! So prepare yourself now for a totally different but definitely better kind of love story.

From the very beginning of our first introduction to Lucky I knew it would be a special kind of woman to capture his attention, Bex is the perfect match for him. Both are evenly matched for each other and are just what the other needs in their life. This book was so full of emotion and heartbreak that at one point I had to put it down and catch my breath. Anne Malcom is by far a wonderfully detailed author. The grit and goriness of some of the story line was just phenomenal! Anne has totally made me her #1 fan girl! For many moments throughout this book I felt as if I was in the actual story with Lucky and Bex. I felt like a background character standing in the coroner amongst the others. This story really consumes you and makes you feel all the emotions that flowed through the characters. If you are a fan of all Anne Malcom books (that be me) then you surely will not be disappointed in this read and if you're new to her than you'll definitely be joining my #1 fan girl group! One quick recommendation is to get the tissues ready because they will be needed. Let me not forget to add that we also get some brief glimpses and great interactions with most if not all of our favorite Sons of Templar couples! I rate this book a 5 + kiss rating (the plus is because its worth more but its the highest I can rate it!)  So hurry and one click or if you've yet to read about all the other amazing Sons of Templar couples then definitely start reading those ASAP!

Anne Malcom has been an avid reader since before she can remember, her mother responsible for her book addiction. It started with magical journeys into the world of Hogwarts and Middle Earth, then as she grew up her reading tastes grew with her. Her obsession with books and romance novels in particular gave Anne the opportunity to find another passion, writing. Finding writing about alpha males and happily ever afters more fun than reading about them, Anne is not about to stop any time soon.
