ARC Review | Deep Redemption (A Hades Hangmen Novel) By Tillie Cole

He was born to ascend.
He was destined to lead.
He was never meant to fail.

Prophet Cain lies broken and defeated on the floor of his cell. A cell he has been thrown into by the one person who was supposed to stand by his side until the end. His flesh and blood, his only companion. His beloved twin brother.

Cain has sacrificed everything for his people. He left the safety and security of his life of study to infiltrate the infamous Hades Hangmen. He lived with them, rode with them, and then betrayed them. All in the name of a faith he can now feel slipping away from him. Like everything else he once held dear…

But then his isolation is broken. Another prisoner is brought to the cell next to his. A woman fighting her own demons and fears. A woman who Cain understands needs him, as he needs her.

As the connection between them grows, so does Cain’s resolve. He will right the wrongs he has done. He will atone for the evil acts carried out in his name. He will save the one he loves…

… Even if the battle takes him to the gates of hell itself.

Contemporary Dark Romance. Contains explicit sexual situations, violence, sensitive and taboo subjects, offensive language, and mature topics. Recommended for age 18 years and up.

REDEMPTION- the act of saving or being saved from sin, error or evil

Prophet Cain (aka Rider) has met his end. No longer believing in the New Zion ways, Cain has now been imprisoned. His twin, Judah has taken his place as the Prophet and is leading their people in continuing on the New Zion beliefs. But Cain cannot and will not allow the things the elders continue to practice. He must find a way to finally put a stop to New Zion and its evilness.

Let me start with saying that Cain is a very unlikable character throughout the Hangmen series. His actions alone are the reasons we as readers grew to despise and at times hate him. Now when I first started to read Cain’s story I went in with an open and clear mind. I left all my judgment of him to the side. Cain’s story was quite revealing and filled with such sadness. His upbringing as a child was harsh. With this book we learn more and get a complete description on how the New Zion Commune was created. Many readers are hesitant to read this story and I completely understand the hesitation. But I will say this, Cain’s story is a must read! So much is revealed and uncovered throughout this book, that we finally get a clear picture as to who Cain is. We also get introduced to characters that have a great impact on the Hades Hangmen series. If you loved the previous 3 books, then you must read Cain’s story. Did I mention the plot twist in the book? Yes, there’s a twist, a big one that if you’re a Hangman fan you definitely don’t want to miss it. I really enjoyed reading this book and will say (as I always do) that Tillie Cole is an amazing author! The details in her books are always spot on. I give this read a 5 kiss review (I really give it a 10 he he) and encourage you the reader, to read Cain’s story. So hurry and one click today!
