Title: Edge of Surrender
Series: Alpha Crew, #2

Pages: 114
Format: eBook
Publisher: Pocket Star

The scorching-hot romance between Emma and Ryan that began in At the Edge: Alpha Crew Part One concludes in Part Two of this sexy, suspenseful adventure!

Ryan had one job: keep Emma safe at all costs. But after a night of passion, Emma takes off and Ryan soon realizes he’s not the only one looking for her. Can he figure out who’s after the beautiful government aide, and why, before she falls into the wrong hands… if she hasn’t already?

Emma’s fighting to get justice for her fallen comrades, but she can’t do it alone. She needs Ryan’s help, but that means trusting him--and dealing with the out-of-control desire blazing between them. Can there be any future for a marked woman and a man trained to kill? She hopes they live long enough to find out…

Edge of Surrender picks up right where the first book leaves us. Emma has been feeling a bit on edge, and Ryan can sense it. He swoops in in the nick of time, and they form a team of their own.
Together they take what information Emma has come across and match together evidence with her theories. They don’t know who is coming after Emma or who they can trust to help.

In the midst of all the schemes and danger, the two continue to radiate chemistry. Though Emma wants him, Ryan can’t help but feel he’s taking advantage of her in her vulnerable state.

Book two holds a bit more suspense and action, and includes way more romance between Emma and Ryan. There’s no down time as there is a constant flow of information and activity for our hero and heroine. This book will have your pulse pounding like mad. The ending was a bit rushed and cleaned up too swiftly.

A thrilling and engaging conclusion to this suspenseful duet.
I wouldn’t mind seeing more from these characters, including Ryan’s SEAL team.
