Bang Switch (Code 11-KPD SWAT #3) by Lani Lynn Vale ★ Blog Tour ✭ ARC Review & Giveaway

Lachlan Downy was a lover, not a fighter.

Okay, he wouldn't lie, he was a fighter, too. But nobody had to know that. Especially not Memphis Tennessee Conner and her stuffy attitude when it came to cops and ‘men like him.’

Memphis knew cops. Her daddy was a cop. He was also the president of a motorcycle club. Needless to say, he’s about as alpha as they come, and she’s tired of overbearing men who think they know how to run her life better than she does.

So when Downy comes into her life running his smooth talking mouth, she realizes that she’ll have to stand strong against his pretty words and promises to give her what she needs.

Downy is determined, though.

He’s the hostage negotiator for KPD SWAT, and he’s never met a person, man or woman, he couldn't talk around into his way of thinking.

Although, Memphis is about to show him just how much he miscalculated.

Seems Downy may not be as smooth as he thought, and Memphis is just the girl to show him the error of his ways.

“When you’re ready to get what you need, and not what you think you want, come see me.”

Downy, Downy, Downy, WOW! He is what I would call the ultimate ALPHA male. He knows what he wants, he knows what he needs and does not stop until it’s his.

Memphis never stood a chance. She thinks moving away and leaving behind her Alpha daddy was the best, until she meets her neighbor, Downy.

This book had some of the best and hilarious scenes in it. One that particularly comes to mind is the broken wall. It involves some heavy and hard love making that causes the wall to come tumbling down.
The story line revolving around Downy & Memphis was great. They had awesome chemistry and even better they shared the same love for their animals. But, and this is a big but, for me at times I felt as if Downy was just a tad bit to overbearing. He is much older than Memphis, I believe 15 years older, so that caused some friction and maturity problems. All together and in the end this story was great. I always love Lani’s epilogues, they give us, the readers a full circle ending to her wonderful stories. I give this read a 4 kiss review and recommend it be added to your TBR list ASAP.

I’m a married mother of three. My kids are all under 5, so I can assure you that they are a handful. I’ve been with my paramedic husband now for ten years, and we’ve produced three offspring that are nothing like us. I live in the greatest state in the world, Texas.
