Title: Final Call (Call #2)
Author: Emma Hart
Release Date: June 16th, 2014

Synopsis

In the highly anticipated sequel to LATE CALL, Dayton and Aaron learn once more than not everything is as straightforward as it seems, and if they have any chance of getting their long-awaited happily-ever-after, they'll have to work for it...

We crashed and burned like a falling plane. Hard and fast with an inevitable explosion. Another few weeks together changed my life the way the first did. At twenty-four, I became naïve again. I became a dreamer again. A believer. And walking away hurts just as much as it did seven years ago.

But over doesn't have to mean over-at least in Aaron Stone's mind. His pursuit is relentless, his determination unwavering. He'll go to any lengths to keep me and prove that I belong to him. Unfortunately, love isn't easy, and whether or not I forgive him is irrelevant to his past catching up with us. Once again, our relationship is haunted by a secret, one that could destroy everything, and the secret is born from the need to protect the other...

But the tables have turned, because the secret is mine.

Final Call is the second and final book in the Call series and is the conclusion to Aaron and Dayton's story. It's is not a standalone and Late Call must be read first.
Both LATE CALL (#1) and FINAL CALL (#2) are on sale for $0.99 thru June 20th, then they will return to full price ($2.99 and $3.99).

Review:
Amazing continuation of Aaron and Dayton's story!

“Did I know I could fall in love again? Yes. I knew that.
Did I think he would hurt me? No.
Never in a million years did I think the man I knew would keep secrets like that.”

Dayton left Aaron in Paris after finding out about his wife. Final Call begins things after they've calmed a bit, but Dayton still aches from the betrayal by Aaron; not to mention her boss as well. She trusted them and they kept a crucial piece of information from her.
Dayton is trying to build herself back up to the strong, powerful woman she was before Aaron stepped back into her life, but she's having a hard time changing out of her comfy pj's and eating anything other than ice cream.
Her heart is missing it's other half.

Finally deciding to go back to work, brings her face to face with Mr. Requirements himself.

He's hell bent on getting her back and she's being tugged back and forth wanting to follow her heart, but dreading getting heartbroken once again.

“My punishment is my own personal pain in knowing I hurt you. Not to mention the way your eyes haunt me. I can’t close my eyes without seeing your face as you found out about her.”

After giving in to fate and true love, they begin to work at their relationship.
Just before they can pop the champagne, Aaron's baggage walks in threatening their future.

“I miss him. Despite the pain, I miss him as much as I hate him, and I hate him as much as I love him.
I miss his body next to mine at night. His breath on my neck.
His arms around me. His legs and feet tangled in mine.
I miss the gentle way he’d whisper my name to wake me up and the look he had reserved just for me and the notes I never knew he was leaving. Everything.
Every. Fucking. Thing.
I shouldn’t.
I shouldn’t miss him at all.
But I do.
I miss him the way I love him.
Entirely.”

We meet some new characters in this sequel. One most worthy of mention is Tyler. Aaron's stud of a cousin keeps Dayton company while the couple visits London.

“My cousin goes through women the way you go through Agent Provocateur’s latest collection.”

Tyler, while clearly a flirt beyond belief, is an honest, kind hearted guy. Yes he's blunt about his sexual encounters, but he has mad love for his family which definitely includes Dayton. He becomes an unexpectedly good friend for her during the transition and trivial ex dilemma.

“Every time I kiss you, I taste the rest of my life. I won’t stop fighting for you until you taste yours, too.”

Aaron and Dayton were as hot as ever in Final Call. Again their love shines through their passion, making the sex so much more than the mechanical lust-filled routine. They both grew as individuals, but more importantly the bond strengthened between them. This is a power couple like no other. You do not want to mess with them!

I can say without a doubt that this second book in the series was better than the first!
Emma Hart is continuing to grow as a writer and she keeps wowing me as a reader.

I'm eagerly anticipating the next book in this series which will center on Tyler and Dayton's BFF, Liv.
