✩Release Day Blitz: Tease by Missy Johnson +ARC Review & Giveaway

Male escort.

That got your attention.

Some of the most powerful and well known women in the country pay to have sex with me, some of them married. Some are into more than just straight sex, which is why they call me. Bondage, power play, submission…nothing is off the table. I will do anything for the right price.

The stories I could tell you about a certain high profile congresswoman, or that innocent blonde actress. Trust me, she’s not so innocent.

Guys would kill for my job. I’m living the fucking dream. Meaningless sex, no relationship hang-ups and I’m rolling in the dough. Life is perfect, just the way it is.

Until I meet her.

She changes everything.

She makes me want more than I’ve ever wanted for myself and she believes in me. But she also thinks I sell insurance. I can’t stop what I do, but I can’t give her up.

Eventually, my two worlds are going to collide and when they do, shit will hit the fan.

I was intrigued by the blurb, because…. well how can you not be? Missy Johnson had me at Male Escort. While it was entertaining and a fun read, I expected a lot more from it.

Liam "Coop" Cooper is a male escort. He had a some unfortunate events in his early adulthood that paved the way into the business. While it's not his first option for a career choice, he enjoys it.. A lot.

One day, he runs into his teenage crush, Mia Westfield. All of the feelings are still there, but there's no way he can have a relationship with anyone due to his current work description. And quitting is just out of the question.

I get that he's an escort so there's going to be loads of smutty encounters, but I felt like this story was WAY to focused on his clients. It was just one sex scene with a client after another, and I began to lose the connection with Coop. And more importantly, him and Mia

I would have liked to have seen more of the development between Coop and Mia. Maybe even had some flashbacks to get a sense of their past relationship. Without seeing really any current romance (aside from a little bit of lust), it was difficult to make sense of them together.

I was a little disappointed with Coop's descriptions of Mia. When he was expressing his feelings about Mia or describing her, it didn't seem that much different from all his other sexcapades. At one point he did mention how different it is with Mia as opposed to his clients, yet I still found it lacking.

If Missy didn't want to have this book surrounding Coop+Mia, but rather Liam Cooper, male escort then great! Nevertheless, this is a fun story line with plenty of sexy time scenes. Tease is perfect for a quick, light read.

*An eARC copy of this book was provided by the author for an honest review. This is no way has affected my review/opinion.

Missy lives in a small town in Central Victoria with her husband, and her confused pets (a dog who think she's a cat, a cat who thinks he's a dog...you get the picture).

When she's not writing, she can usually be found looking for something to read.
